Safeguarding Children Policy<\/strong><\/h1>\n

  • Ofsted are informed of any allegations of serious harm or abuse by any person living, working, or looking after children at the premises<\/span><\/li>\n
  • No person without a DBS check will be left alone with children.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Managing Children\u2019s Behaviour<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    We aim to keep children active and developmentally challenged to avoid a child being bored, which is a significant cause of disruptive behaviour. Helpful and considerate behaviour is positively encouraged and rewarded.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We at Little Potters feel that corporal punishment and humiliation are unacceptable at the nursery and would lead to instant dismissal. Age-appropriate behaviour plans are displayed in group rooms; we are happy to offer strategies and advice if you are struggling with aspects of behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Bullying is when someone deliberately sets out to hurt, threaten or frighten someone. At Little Potters, bullying is not tolerated.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Managing Children\u2019s Behaviour<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nIf your child display repeated negative behaviour then we will work together to develop a mutually agreed positive strategy that will work at home and in the nursery.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\nWe aim to keep children active and developmentally challenged to avoid a child being bored, which is a major cause of disruptive behaviour. Helpful and considerate behaviour is positively encouraged and rewarded.<\/span>\r\n\r\nWe at Little Potters feel that corporal punishment and humiliation is unacceptable at nursery and would lead to instant dismissal. Age appropriate behaviour plans are displayed in, group rooms, we are happy to offer strategies and advice if you are struggling with aspects of behaviour.<\/span>\r\n\r\nBullying is when someone deliberately sets out to hurt, threaten or frighten someone.
